A question for mod Chris

I posted a Release Test of Simple Port Forwarding (in the wrong forum), und you removed the link stating that it was commercial software and that there was no indication of permission given.

For the second part, I agree that I forgot to include permission. I was cutting and pasting from the development test template, and replacing with my info. There isn't a line for permission, and I forgot all about it (maybe that could get added to the template). I have updated the original post to include permission from the author.

For the first part, this version is freeware, not commercial. The pro version is commercial. Also, I do have the author's permission to make this launcher. I can forward the email as proof, if required, if I find out where to send it.

May I restore the link for my post at https://portableapps.sitesunblocked.org/node/33623, and can this be moved to the correct forum? Thanks for your time.

Yes

You can add the link back with the inclusion of the permission notice.

We're strict about permission here as we only do legal software. Some illegal portable sites repackage freeware without permission.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Can it

Can it get moved into the beta forum, or should I keep it in the Portable App Development forum (I posted it there by mistake)?

You should be able to move it

You should be able to move it yourself. There is a dropdown between the Title and Body of your post titled "Forms". Just select Beta Testing Forums, and it should move there.

Huh

I've been using this forum for 4 years (or there abouts), and I never noticed that. Unbelievable. Thank you for pointing this out.
