Hi,
I've been doing somes cleaning on my windows7 PC and came across what I now know as some µTorrent leftovers.
After cleaning up everything, I installed the latest version of uTorrentPortable (3.5.5.46148) then started it and then closed it...
Folder "%PROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\uTorrent" was still present, containing one file. I checked the launcher.ini file and I understand it should have been deleted along with its content...
The other files created at runtime are deleted but one won't preventing I guess the deletion of the folder.

When an update is available, µTorrent Portable will update to a non-Portable version!?
Anybody else have the problem? Anyway to avoid this?

Every time when it is launched the browser creates an additional profile in the folder App \ OperaGX. When it starts the next time, a message appears that an duplicate profile was found in the folder App\OperaGX and must be deleted ("Please ensure that no profile is stored in that location"). Otherwise the browser doesn't run. First I have to delete the additional profile, which is very annoying. The correct profile is located in the Data folder. This bug has been present in several versions. The problem does not occur with the permanently installed version.

I don't know the release version of the previous OperaGX launcher (the actual exe) but I could call Launcher.exe and feed it an unquoted url to have it open a new tab in an already running OperaGX. The last update somehow messed with that as it now opens a new OperaGX window which seemingly uses a totally different profile.

So I tried getting around this by simply calling OperaGXPortable.exe from within my program.
The funny thing is, if I an unquoted url, it ends up in OperaGX as a link with folder of the calling program prepended, like

I installed the Opera GX portable app, and when opening the "OperaGXPortable.exe" file, it shows a startup screen with the logo, in a small black box, then just closes. I reopen the file to the same error. Any solutions?

I am trying to install the version in subject above and I am receiving the following message during and installation:
The ed copy of Skype is not valid and can not be installed. Please try installing again.

I have tried to install it on other devices as well but I am retrieving the same message during installation. I have tried also with older version but with the same result.

Please help.

I have K_meleon installed.
When a new version is released it does not appear when I "Check for updates".
I notice that the version number is not changing, only the suffix date.

Hello. On my job I often work on different PC's, so I've installed Google Chrome on my USB flash drive.
But unfortunately when I starting Google Chrome on new PC, I see that I logged off from Google and all the websites.
I read instructions and put GoogleChromePortable.ini in folder with .exe (Portables=true). But there is no results.
Firefox by the way keep me logged in very well.

So is it true that Google Chrome can't keep me logged in ? Or is there workaround?

(Windows 10, Chrome ver. 96.0.4664.45)
