I'm using Chrome Portable, and I've enable sync. Aswell as set Portables to True. But each time I change of PC, it logs me out of my google , so it disable sync. Which is annoying.

Any ideas? I've read old topics but didn't find the answer.

I online_paf.exe from https://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/Google%20Chrome%20Po..., the version older 108? get 404 error. Is there any way to get the old versions like chrome V75 without ing files by the online_paf?

I haven't used Skype since Windows 7 or 8.1. On two different Windows 10 computers, the current version stops mid-way through with tthe following error message:

" The ed copy of Skype is not valid and can not be installed. Please try installing again. "

It is possible that one of the Microsoft security updates has created this issue, or perhaps there is an incompatibility.

I use GoogleChromePortableLegacyWin764 and I have noticed that there's a registry key that stays in all the time (even with browser disabled) at HKEY_CURRENT_\Software\Google\Chrome which contains UsageStatsInSample entry. After its manual removal the key/entry gets regenerated on next browser launch. Any chance for automatic removal of the registry key at shutdown?

Zmportaple (Zoom). App start time is too long. It takes up to 20-30 seconds to launch the app.

Probably, it is because the launcher should copy lots of files to AppData (and back - ZMlauncher stays in memory for about 30 sec after the app is closed). But, the similar app with portable appz launcher starts much faster (5 sec max). What can be the issue?

You changed the path from:

1. qBittorrentPortable\Data\settings\AppData_qBittorrent to qBittorrentPortable\Data\qBittorrent\config

2. qBittorrentPortable\Data\settings\LocalAppData_qBittorrent to qBittorrentPortable\Data\qBittorrent\data

These changes can cause s to lose their old data and settings.

For everyone’s information: The latest Opera update wiped out my most recent session. This I noticed immediately, upon seeing that all my old tabs were gone. From there it started querying me as how I wanted to setup the browser, as it if were an initial installation. Hence there was an evident failure in accessing my whole former profile.

I did get a message at one point about conflicting profiles, but the suggestion about how to resolve it was incomplete. That is, there was no file in the referenced directory that was constructively apropos the issue.

I'm not sure if I get the situation right.

was the @usb even direct from them or only a swedish developer?

hello everyone. i want to run multiple instances of uget portable. i've tried sandboxie and a few command line shortcut tricks i came across online and nothing works. i've had no trouble with firefox and chrome but for some reason uget seems to be a special case. a case that requires more knowledge than i have. i want to use the external application launcher extension from the context menu, where each instance automatically s to a single folder. there's an extension that does just that, but another extension i use breaks it and renders it useless.
