Keeps Freezing 3k1p6k

Love this, but alas it keeps freezing up about halfway through most games...

Windows 7 Pro x64

DOes it just freeze? Or does it comeback? Any error messages? I have now run this on XP SP3 as well as 7 home 64 bit and can not duplicate this

It just freezes when notifications like "Your Turn To Play" appear and the game in progress will not resume... I can click items in the menu bar (though the one for "Hint" is greyed out) or close the app.

I understand what you mean? I only dealt with the keys specific to each game. Each gameisstored in same root key but under different sub roots

Your current Quick Cribbage launcher takes over HKEY_CURRENT_\Software\Wesley Steiner. If the other apps use keys under that, they will collide if run at the same time and break portability. The launcher should have the RegistryKeys section set to HKCU\Software\Publisher\AppName and then have a RegistryCleanupIfEmpty of HKCU\Software\Publisher as explained in the launcher manual.

I went with this:

This also applies for more complex subtrees. (Try to think of more useful file names that “appname1” and “appname2” for your own applications.) In the example below, note that order is important. If the key numbers of the [RegistryCleanupIfEmpty] values were the other way round, it would try to delete HKCU\Software\Publisher first, and find that it wasn’t empty (because it would have Type in it) and so it wouldn’t be cleaned up.

But will fix it asap or have you pull the app

I have a minor revision made, fixing the appinfo ini glitch and I believe addressing your concerns I will forward a link to you.
I have your packaging of it and I do not see a splash screen setup for it?

I did note that you had made an addition to my original launcher, just not sure why this current issue was not discovered then?

Caffeine just kicked in (got to love the Diet Mt. Dew) and I just realized what you mean and what I did wrong, ignore the email. I will send you a revision by tomorrow as well as revising the Quick Poker and ing a Beta Bridge.

Revision 2 better handles portability when run at the same time as other games by the same publisher and fixes category selection of the app for categories/folders in the beta platform. (vf2nsr: you had the category as Game instead of Games)
