DTaskManager is packaged for portable use with permission from Dimio.

portableapps.sitesunblocked.org Platform 2.0 Beta 5 s who already have this app installed, simply click 'Check for Updates' in your PA.c Menu to update to the new version.

Features 5m3f1z

ScreenshotDTaskManager has three different ways to close a process, as the "termination request", the standard "forced termination" with dialogue tolerance, and the "forced termination" of any type of process, bying all permissions (it can also terminate running system processes). DTaskManager allows you to suspend and reactivate a process (as in Linux). This is useful, for example, to temporarily suspend a task that uses system resources when you don't want to terminate it (such as a DivX encoding process). DTaskManager allows you to select more than one process at a time, and terminate all of them "simultaneously". DTaskManager does not require confirmations. Click and it works.

portableapps.sitesunblocked.org Installer / portableapps.sitesunblocked.org Format 1y1x1j

DTaskManager Portable is packaged in a portableapps.sitesunblocked.org Installer so it will automatically detect an existing portableapps.sitesunblocked.org installation when your drive is plugged in. It s upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in portableapps.sitesunblocked.org Format, so it automatically works with the portableapps.sitesunblocked.org Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Why a DTaskManager Portable? 3j6n5d

As Far As I Know this is a 100% natively portable software.
So, why do You create a "PA" portable version?
what is the advantage?

runtime error 93j21

hi !
forceclosing everytime I startup - win7/64
anyone got that prog. running ?
cheers !

Hey 2b2b, im on Win7/64 also 6x3272

Hey 2b2b, im on Win7/64 also and it seems to be working fine.

Yes, runtime error 5o40b

I too am running Win7/64, and get "Runtime error 5: Invalid procedure call or argument."

Same error happens with DShutdown.

However, I tried ing and running the native DTaskmanager app (not packaged as a PA.c app) and the same error occurs, so this is not a discussion for PA.c but needs to go to D-Software .

Cheers!

Win 7/32 x566w

When opening and trying kill process in Win 7/32 I get nadda.

Open Windows TaskManager to kill the same process and presto.

Anyone else have this issue?

Please use the Forums, and please be specific. 33195q

As this could possibly be a bug it should be posted in the Other Apps Forum, but I'm not certain what you mean by "I get nadda", is DTaskManager Portable not opening, or is it opening but not killing a process when you tell it to?

Also any other pertinent information would be appreciated (e.g. or limited, run as ? [it asks you to], started from Platform?, what AV & Firewall do you use?, etc.)

Note: If you don't "Run as " (and either click yes to run it with istrative Privileges, or type in the istrative for it) some parts of it will not function correctly, if you're getting it open, but are unable to kill processes with it this might be one of them.

As stated in my post, when I 3o536

As stated in my post, when I try to kill the process using DTaskmanager, I get nadda, meaning it does not kill the process.

When I use Windows TaskManager to kill the process, presto, meaning that I have successfully killed the process.

DTaskmanager ran from PortableApps Menu installed on thumbdrive.

Full rights --- Problem exist with MacAfree Internet Security enabled or disabled.

Win 7/32

I guess I'll have to assume . . . 4z3i5s

  1. I guess I'll have to assume that it opens since you say you "try to kill the process using DTaskManager", despite the fact that you did NOT answer the question
  2. Installed in the default location (X:\PortableApps\DTaskManagerPortable\) or a custom location?
  3. By "Full rights" do you mean that the has "Full rights", or that you told it to "Run as " and either clicked yes or typed in the (or both)?
  4. When you disabled McAfee Internet Security, did you disable both the AV & Firewall sections of it?
  5. Is it possible that the McAfee AV messed something up during install? You could try installing again with McAfee disabled during install.

Please try killing the process with the Base App (It's about 2/3 the way down the page) and if the problem is still there, please report it to Dimio rather than portableapps.sitesunblocked.org as that means it isn't a "DTaskManager Portable" issue.

  • If the problem is specific to the portableapps.sitesunblocked.org release, and you need more help Please use the Forum.

I guess I'll have to assume 4s1926

I guess I'll have to assume that it opens since you say you "try to kill the process using DTaskManager", despite the fact that you did NOT answer the question

"when I try to kill the process using DTaskmanager" -- I thought the keyword was USING - Yes program is open and being USED thus I used the word USING

Installed in the default location (X:\PortableApps\DTaskManagerPortable\) or a custom location?

Default location had it not been default location, I would have stated.

By "Full rights" do you mean that the has "Full rights", or that you told it to "Run as " and either clicked yes or typed in the (or both)?

By saying FULL RIGHTS, I am saying that the computer has FULL RIGHTS and ran the program with FULL RIGHTS.

When you disabled McAfee Internet Security, did you disable both the AV & Firewall sections of it?

When I said I ran it enabled and disabled, that means when it was ran disabled, ALL OF MACAFEE WAS DISABLED - ALL PARTS OF IT.

Is it possible that the McAfee AV messed something up during install? You could try installing again with McAfee disabled during install.

Installed and Re-installed several times.
