RawTherapee boasts a wide range of features letting you get the most from your raw photos including modern and traditional demosaicing algorithms, advanced color handling, enhanced exposure and tonality tools, multiple denoising methods, and several tools to enhance details. Thanks for making RT part of Portable Apps. I've been using RT for a number of years now and it is great.
Some additional info:
RT uses a lot of memory! It needs 2G of ram, when using it close unnecessary windows. This is critical with 32 bit machines. Read Maximizing Memory Efficiency referenced above, it will significantly reduce crashes.
RT can also be used with JPG images with reduced functionality.

Did you miss the fact that this app has 32-bit and 64-bit versions combined and will use the correct one on each PC? That way you're not stuck with only the 64-bit version when you happen to be on a 32-bit machine. And you can take advantage of the 64-bit version when you are on a 64-bit machine.

There are multiple 64-bit portable apps already. I laid out our policy on 64-bit portable apps about 2 years ago. We have specific instances where it makes sense to do a 'dual mode' portable app with both versions within. Specifically, [1] when required (like defraggers and other system utililties that require the appropriate version on each PC. JkDefrag for example), [2] when there is a worthwhile speed improvement to offset the size increase in the portable app (7-Zip and PeaZip both do this for just such a reason) and [3] when the 64-bit version adds additional features/functionality (as would apply with RawTherapee or AkelPad which can open much larger files). So, we have a bunch of apps that fit this criteria. Most other apps, the 64-bit version (when there is one) makes no difference at all, so we stick to the 32-bit version only, which runs fine on 64-bit Windows.
Basically, you've been using 32-bit/64-bit dual mode apps for 2 years without even knowing it, because we have the apps do all the work automatically for you.

We made no changes to the look and feel for the portable package. It's just the defaults. And the portable and local one look the same on my Windows 7 PC.
