I would've never thought 44j4t
YES! I make heavy use of text-mode browsers on my *nix machines and
do have lynx and Links on one of the XP machines but I never thought I'd
see a portable apps version of these browsers.
Useful for those times when I just need see some info quickly.
Thanks and kudos to all involved.
Woohoo! (can you tell I'm a happy camper?)

Thanks! But no sites load, colon is appended to all URLs m2ew
Thanks for this app, I'm a big Lynx fan from way back.
But after installing LinksPortable_2.7.paf.exe and running LinksPortable.exe, I get a blank window, I hit G, get the "Go to URL" pop-up and enter www.google.com or http://www.google.com.
Then I get:
- Looking up host
- Error loading http://www.google.com: Host not found
- note the extra colon at the end of the url
This happens if I try to load the portableapps.sitesunblocked.org entry in the Bookmarks manager - a colon is appended to the end of the URL and it errors on host not found.
Am I goofing up in the use of the app somehow? Thanks in advance, jxf011
Buggy 6h6326
I've found links a bit buggy in my testing. If you hit ESC does the menu come up? If not, it might be a Cygwin incompatibility if you have it installed locally (or any piece of it from other apps).

It's indeed incredibly fast. And worked well for the 5 minutes or so that I was using it. My worst comment is that the Facebook site sucked, but I didn't expect it to work anyway.
