AutoHotKey 1.0.48 Development Test 1

Application: AutoHotkey
Category: Utilities
Description: AutoHotkey is a great OpenSource app scripting utility. With it you can offset all those stupid little tasks that get you closer and closer to carpel tunnel syndrom, create your own custom apps, compile the .ahk script to an .exe that can be ran from any computer, and much more.

AutoHotkey Portable 1.0.48 Development Test 1 [2.3MB / 3.2MB installed]
(MD5: 8760a7ae8a466aa93c98ea957eea5c17)

Release Notes:

Development Test 1 (2009-22-03): Initial release

  • I've taken BrianAll's origional lancher and have edited it as well as upgraded to the latest AHK release.
  • New in this launcher: There is now a folder called ScriptSettings within the Data directory. Anything you need for you script to run (such as icons, settings files etc.) should go in that file. The launcher will auto copy that to the DocumentsDirectory\ScriptSettings. Also within that directory (only while in Documents) there will be an ini that points to the PAM drive. This should make it much easier to find your drive incase you want to interact with any

Version

You're missing the version info from your announcement again. You have to have the version in your subject and in the file name of your release. Otherwise, it's not a valid release.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

On a side note,

The AutoHotkey plugin for Notepad++ Portable is still available. (Adds AHK to list of languages, etc)

Notepad++ Portable 4.92 AHK Plugin Development Test 1
(MD5:a2171e91ed8a256cf1bcbc27a656130b) [117 Kb]

Drop me a note if it doesn't work, but I *think* it should still be OK.

Missing icons? / Lost file

After updating to this release, the icons for "AutoHotKey Portable" and "Auto Script Writer Portable" are missing/blank in the PA Menu.

Also, is there a way of preserving the autorun script (...App\AutoHotkey\AutoHotkey.ini) when installing/upgrading the portable release? I prefer to use this file to redirect AHK to a scripts directory on my portable drive, rather than having the launcher copy and remove a script at HostMachine\MyDocs.
