    Registry

Just so you know, there's some registry items at HKCU\Softare\techPowerUp\GPU-Z including an Install_Dir REG_SZ. I came across these when I was trying to make my own personal version.

Also, the base app prompts for istrative rights, so putting in RunAs=force would be good.

    Any changes needed?

Can't find your registry entries. Are they still existing in the new version 0.7.4.0 DT1 ?

RunAs is already changed in my version, but I won't release an extra DT for that. Thanks

Do I need ProgrammDirectory oder DataDirectory in the launcher.ini?

P.S. I have already taken care of the SplashTime Smile

    Tested again

You don't need ProgramDirectory or DataDirectory for any applications. Those are automatically set by the launcher as %PAL:AppDir% and %PAL:DataDir% and can be used accordingly. RunAs is still needed so it should be included in your next Dev Test so that s don't have to change that themselves. The registry entries are still there for me, but could be related to a local version which is not encountered when just running from the executable. After changing those, everything else looked fine after running it for a while.

    Registry

This app doesn't seem to be portablized, but I think I know why. On first run, it asks to install and save settings to the registry. Once say no, it stores that response in the registry and never asks again on that PC, so you likely did it a while ago and didn't realize it. PAL doesn't have any file or registry commands in it, which is what clued me in. I'm working on it now for release and regshotting in a clean VM. It seems to just use a single registry key.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
