Talk to Avast, PApps go through rigorous checks and I don't think SpeedyFox is one of the remote hosted ones. Anyway, what it mainly does is squish sqlite files so if you don't trust the publisher you're in trouble anyway as Avast are unlikely to notice a malicious bit of sql
You have to report it to Avast and wait for them to fix their issue. It'll take a couple days once you report it. The free version of Avast is very basic and won't let you disable the broken heuristic engine.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I have reported it, many times in fact.
I've even started looking into using a better free anti-virus.
I managed to force Avast to ignore the alert for the version i ed directly, by going into the chest and using the restore and add to exclusions option.
My SpeedyFox is now up to date, but when i deleted the "installer" it still gave me an alert for the recycling bin.

You can report it to Avast as it's another bug in their heuristic engine. There's nothing we can do on our end to fix their issue.

Ya, Avast doesn't even offer the option of ignoring.
All available options prevent the update.
