Typically, antivirus applications install device drivers and often other components that must start during the boot process.
I just want to confirm that the PortableApps version of ClaimWin Antivirus does *not* install any device drivers or other components that start during the boot process.
Also, does it include virus removal tools, or only detection?
Finally, when the portable version is first run, does it new virus signatures?

No, ClamWin Portable does not install driver's or anything that runs during boot.
Yes, it is an antivirus tool. As such it both detects and removes viruses on demand.
Yes, when first run, it offers to new signatures.
