DSynchronize V2.32.7

Hello everybody,

I tried to update to DSynchronize V2.32.7, ed file have 888kb.
Every time when I start the uipdate I got an errrormessage, that I don't have acces to the file and maybe the rights are not enough.
I am on my PC.

Anybody who can check this?

Best regards
Patrick

Corruption or File System Permissions

That's either corruption or file system permissions. If the drive is portable and formatted as NTFS, ensure that 'Everyone' has 'Full Access' to the root and all sub folders. Scan for errors to check for corruption.

This sort of error is nothing to do with the app or our installer. It's entirely on the Windows and file side.

Hello John,

Hello John,

thanks for your reply.
The USB drive is formatted as FAT32.
I have scanned the drive with F-Secure Client Security 12.00 build 648 and McAfee Stinger Portable V12.1.0.2092 -> nothing found.
I have scanned with ClamWin Portable V0.99.1 -> Detects Malware (Win.Malware.Agent1012317919/CRDF-1) in PortableApps\CommonFiles\Java\bin\javaw.exe (188kb, date 10.5.16) and also in the installation-file jPortable_8_Update_91.paf.exe, I think this is not correct and should not be the reason for this problem.
I never had this issue with a portable app before.
What else can I check?

Best regards
Patrick

Errors not viruses

Scan the drive for errors, not viruses.
