if one were to hypothetically make Adobe PDF Reader portable on one's own computer (and one shouldn't do it because it would be against their TOS),

what steps would one hypothetically take?

(it's unfortunate how they do stealth updates on their installed app, and periodically change their UI. i'd rather spend my brain using the thing than spend it on keeping track of the UI changes.)

Update: I know about Sumatra PDF, and use it as my default PDF reader. But I need to use Text-to-Speech (With highly technical subjects, it helps me understand better when the words I'm reading are also being spoken out aloud).
