The Irfanview website suggests using the 32-bit version. Do I have to operate it from here?

Can the i_view32.ini settings from the install version be used? If so, where do I put them?
Right now, the portable version toolbar displays differently than the install, is there an adjustment for this?

Install https://i.postimg.cc/DZmfB3/IRFANVIEW-INI-INSTALL.jpg
You run IrfanViewPortable.exe in the base directory and it'll automatically run the correct version for you. Both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions are included. After you've run it once, you can copy your i_view32.ini file to IrfanViewPortable\Data\IrfanView and replace the one that is there.
The difference in toolbars is because you have a custom toolbar selected in your local install. To make portable match, select Options - Properties/Settings. Select the Toolbar entry on the left. Then select gnome-colors-wise_32 in the middle. Then click OK on the left.

I run Windows 64-bit. I've always used Irfanview 32-bit due to the the advice here? https://www.irfanview.com/64bit.htm
Since I run Windows 64-bit, won't it automatically run Irfanview 64-bit?
EDIT: I just tried it. 64 bit.
Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (x64) Build 19045.4894 (22H2)
Can you confirm that only the Irfanview 64 bit version will be selected by Irfanview porrtableapps on Windows 64 bit OS?
Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (x64) Build 19045.4894 (22H2)
It will automatically run 32-bit on 32-bit Windows and 64-bit on 64-bit Windows.
