False Positive

All apps are scanned in about 70 antivirus engines before release. You can check this by clicking the Antivirus Scan link just below the button on the app's page, Q-Dir Portable in this case. You'll see it is clean save for a typical few false positives in lesser engines. And that it is clean in Microsoft's engine.

If you update your Windows Defender to the current definitions (Security intelligence version 1.429.92.0 created 5/20/2025 at 6:46AM) you'll see that the file scans clean.

Details about false positives are available here: https://portableapps.sitesunblocked.org/#antivirus_scan

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thx for your answer and...

Thx for your answer and...
with the new definitions it is clean - with the definition from yesterday it wasn't.
May be the update "Security Intelligence-Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus – KB2267602 (Version 1.429.104.0)" from this morning is helpful Wink

Plz close the thread - next time I'll wait one day before opening a new thread Biggrin
