Kee: Copying Key File

I usually backup my portable drive every few days using MS Synctoy. Was wondering if I will have to redo all of my stored s if I ever have to use the backup up files, in other words will the keyfile and file work if they are copied to a new location? (I am thinking no).

Thanks,
Zack

.

I'm thinking yes... I have used my backups 3 or 4 times (thanks to viruses and my fever to test new PApps in another formats...)... and never had an issue with that.

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report Biggrin

They'll continue to work

They'll continue to work just fine, but you'll need to be careful that they are not and do not become corrupted.

If the keyfile gets corrupt and you can't replace it with a correct one you won't be able to open the file.

If the file gets corrupt you may or may not be able to recover your s.

No real good way to ensure that never happens, but just a reminder to your backups occasionally and that even a backup of your backup can be useful. Smile
