Kee: Use Both v1 and v2?

On my home computer I have .Net installed (for better or worse), therefore I can use Kee v.2

On my computer at work .Net is not installed. So...

If I "install" v.1 on my USB drive, can I use v.2 on my home computer and v.1 on my work computer (via the USB drive)?

To give an example: If I were to add or change s at work, with v.1, could I 'synch' the revised database with v.2 at home?

At the moment

At the moment, I think they are compatible, but there are no guarantees. But you should ABSOLUTELY NOT use 2.0 for your real stuff since it's an Alpha release.

I'm sticking with 1.0 and if some interesting feature were added to the .NET version and not 1.0, I can guarantee you someone is going to fork 1.0 to sur the .NET version.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Oh...in that case...

Don't know how I overlooked that v.2 was alpha.

That being the case, I'm sticking with v.1 all around.

Thanks.

Differnet File format

If I correctly Kee 2.x uses an XML based database for storing s and requires you to use the import wizard to bring 1.x s into it.
