If you used one of a handful of versions of Firefox Portable, it may have created a local shortcut for Firefox Private Browsing. This was fixed in Firefox Portable 106.0.3 Rev 2. To remove the shortcut from your local PC, you can use the Remove Firefox Private Browsing Shortcuts utility.

You can also manually delete it: right-click on it in your Start Menu, select More, and then Open File Location. You can then delete the shortcut from there.

[Fixed] Firefox Portable 106.0.3 Adds Firefox Private Browsing to the Start Menu 4ni6p

After updating to and running v106.0.3, it adds a Firefox Private Browsing entry to the start menu. The previous version didn't add the entry to the start menu. I don't have Firefox installed on the system and I updated it with the updater from the platform.

How do I start my copy of Firefox Portable in 32bit mode? 4x3fr

Submitted by Astrologeos on October 31, 2022 - 3:44pm

Hey, what's up. I've been using the 64bit portable build of Firefox obtained from this page for a while, and I can tell Mozilla has never addresses the problem with RAM on low RAM systems. 64bit copies of Firefox just increasingly consume RAM slowly over time and there's no way to deal with it other than to restart the full browser.

This is annoying, so I'd like to use the 32bit build which has worked for me well in the past. I can see its files are there in the App\Firefox folder, but how can I boot it up in Portable mode?

[Fixed] Bad link to Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition Version 106.0.1 4ry5s

I got a 404 attempting to the English version of 106.0.1 from the link at the top of the page (https://portableapps.sitesunblocked.org/ing/?a=FirefoxPortable&s=s&p=&d=pa&f=Fi...). I don't know if the link or the subsequent redirect has an error, or if the file is missing from the target location.

Hi,
I can't start Firefox Portable since Version 105.0.1, 105.0 is working. Is there a verbose mode or anything else I could check, why I can't start it ?

I ed the newest version, but it started with problems so I'd rather keep mine. Using win.7. Any solutions? Thank you

Hi,

I'm trying Mozilla Firefox Developer Edition, Portable (https://portableapps.sitesunblocked.org/apps/internet/firefox-developer-portable) version 106.0. My problem is related with the proxy settings, because, even i choose the option "without Proxy", Firefox still use the proxy configured in windows (using a PAC file).

Firefox 102.3.0 ESR won't launch 2r131n

Submitted by gwt10 on September 25, 2022 - 4:12pm

Just ed this and FF won't launch. The splash screen appears then disappears without launching. I primarily use a 32 bit machine for the time being, but I tested it on my other 64 bit machine and it launches just fine.

Is 32 bit for FF ESR at an end?
