Proxi is stored "as is" - without encryption. That is a serious security problem. It is in ClamWinPortable\Data\settings\ClamWin.conf for example.
Is it possible to use encrypted or hash? It could be more secure

I'm just talking about a version for computers.

Also, the regular Zip file, can serve me portable version?
Maybe With NSIS Portable software to install on portableapps.sitesunblocked.org Platform?

Today upgraded my Kee Portable from KeePortable_1.17.paf.exe
When installing program, clear dir .\KeePortable\App\kee\, where i storaging mybase with s and other plugins.
Early upgraded as copy new version Kee.exe in dir.
Recuva not find deleted .kdb and plugins. Help!

Has anyone noticed that there's something odd about ClamWin updates for the past couple days — that the definitions are ing in duplicate? Seems like this would make for a pretty darn big daily.cld pronto. Here's my latest clamav report:

Hi all, I tried to use ClamWin Portable and noticed two problems:

- there is not a command switch on portableclamwin executable to call clamtray
- if I set clamtray.exe to start with windows it does not load preferences from portable folder
- there is not a switch in clamtray.exe to force it to load preferences from a file
- I was not able to locate the file which clamtray load settings from

with these problems clamwin portable it is not really usable, because you dont have it running in background for scheduled updates, scheduled scans, email notifications, and so on.

I'm new to using USBs and portable apps and I need advice.

How can I keep my usb & desktop secure & safe from viruses/malware?

Do I need to format the usb prior to using? If so, how?

If I want to erase everything and clean the usb to reuse it, do I need a special app for that or just delete?

I will be ing Clamwin and SpyDLLRemover Portable, but do I also need something like Panda Vaccine for my desktop or any other program(s)? What about Autorun-Eater?

I've also come across an app that you can use to have a for more security. Which is the best?
