Installed and have been using KPP 1.06 for about 2 weeks now.

Any reason to upgrade?

I wanted to use clamscan (the command line tool) in comb ination with scan (http://statusbar.mozdev.org/downscan/). Clamscan brings always error message that the database file can not be found.

Could you make the command line tool portable aswell? Would be damm usefull.

I have just tried out the new ClamWin Portable. It tries to open up a temporary file and fails. From there on it just gives you error messages.

The message says invallid argument. It looks like it is trying to open a very long temporary file and the last item on the list has a "/" then invalid argument.

I would give you the entire line but it does not save the errors to the log file.

It all so does a lot of writing to my USB drive. Version "88.7" does not. So I am back to useing it.

The following began to occur a couple of days ago. It was After the "lock" "ini" situation but Not immediately so I believe it is NOT related.

Just upgraded to the latest Portable Apps ClamWin 0.90 and whenever I try to run a scan I get the same error: "Error: MD5 verification error". No files or folders are scanned. Please advise.

When I select Tools -> Virus Database Update, I get the following

I wasn't sure how serious the LibClamAV error was. I did not get that when using 0.88.7.

Will the portable version be made for this program new version

I discovered today that ClamWin Portable leaves some files behind:
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\[name]\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp\nsr41.tmp\newadvsplash.dll
and
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\[name]\Lokale Einstellungen\Temp\ClamWin1.txt
The Clamwin1.txt says:

Any plans/hints/ideas???

John, What about a stub launcher for ClamWin who scans the PortableApps drive with one click?
