Just ed Database Browser Portable, intending to replace DbVisualizer. Tried to connect to an Oracle database, was told that the Oracle Client was not properly installed. Went to the publisher's site (https://www.etl-tools.com) and eventually found that the tool requires that a client must be installed, for the database system you want to use. Database Browser uses the client's drivers to connect to the database.

befor posting I searched a lot but there is no post like my problems. I want to know wah is my wrong? can use Environmen varible as a value of Launcher.ini but not working as a key of Launcher.ini pls see exp below.

I created a small portable app based on the portableapps.sitesunblocked.org format.
This app usually remains open and closes when the system is turned off.

I want to create a portableapps.sitesunblocked.org version of the RetroArch
RetroArch settings are saved on RetroArch.cfg
RetroArch.cfg is an INI file without section, for example:

How do I set a value on an INI file which does not have any section?

Why is the app name "Inno Setup Portable" displayed in the portableapps.sitesunblocked.org menu, not "Inno Setup Compiler Portable"?

Trying to run Notepad++ Portable, standalone. Installed fine, but getting error message whenever I try to run the app:

\App\AppInfo\Launcher\Notepad++Portable.ini is missing [Launch]:ProgramExececutable - what am I to launch?

The Notepad++Portable.ini file exists, and is visible in Windows Explorer.

I installed the app on a network share, mapped to a drive.

Hi, I have a couple of SWF Files which runs through a Shell.exe. I wanted to make a single executable portable bundling all the swf files along with the Shell.exe and on executing the portableapp I wanted the Shell.exe to be executed. Is this something that could be technically achieved with Portable Apps. I just need a few pointers in the right direction.
