When I try to Database Browser I get an error message: "The ed copy of Database Browser is not valid and can not be installed. This could be due to an incomplete or other network issue. Please try running the updater again when complete.".

I've just updated a plugin via Plugins in NP++. After restart the program I've realized the program lost/forgot all the files that were opened. The session.xml file located in "Notepad++Portable\Data\Config" is just empty.

In 64 bit operating system, for the portable app with both 32 bit and 64 bit exe, e.g. 7-Zip Portable, If you delete the 7-Zip64\7zFM.exe (the 64 bit executable file of 7-Zip), You will receive a ERROR message "7-Zip Portable cannot be started. You may wish to re-install to fix this issue.

Since Notepad++ Portable 8.1.1 up to the latest version (8.1 is the last correctly working version), on a Windows 10 x64 system, the program doesn't actually use any .xml files from /Data/Config besides session.xml. On fresh install and first run,

I noticed, that the program version from the NPP package 8.1.3 is still at 8.1.2

Is this intended behavior?

Why is localization folder in 64 bit version only? I'm using 32 bit version and I have to copy that folder to 32-bit folder after every update.

I may be mising, but I think up until recent the Notepad++ App would Auto close with the Platform, and it is no longer doing so.

Is there a setting I may need to change in Notepad++?

It seems something with the configuration of Notepad++ 7.95 causes issues with MarkDown (Which is out of the box).

In order to reproduce:

1. Install Notepad++ 7.95 PortableApps. Make sure it is a clean installation, not an update of previous version.
2. Run Notepad++.
3. Open a MarkDown document (*.md).
4. See there is no syntax highlight.
